Current Scenario in Child Life

There is currently a shortage of qualified CCLS' to provide internships for those coming into the field, and because of this, there are a large number of unfilled Child Life positions open across the country.

Our Child Life Connection Heroes

Traveling CCLS'

Our goal is to find a way to train more of the next generation of Certified Child Life Specialists.  To do this, we need EXPERIENCED Traveling CCLS' who can step into a program for the length of a rotation or an entire internship to train students to step into that unit following completion of their internship!

We know the experiences of students entering the field is challenging right now* - we can change the experiences students are having by creating more internship opportunities which also fills more CCLS jobs!!!

For those interested in becoming a Traveling CCLS, please follow the link to Aya Healthcare and submit an application.  Be sure to mention Child Life Connection as the one who referred you!

For hospitals interested in securing a Traveling CCLS to support either an internship rotation or an entire internship, please reach out to Belinda@ChildLifeConnection.com.
